NALS of North Carolina honors Caitlyn Simmons for the many volunteer and leadership contributions she has made during her first year of membership.
Simmons served as ambassador for the Charlotte area, coordinated and hosted a lunch and learn on a legal topic held at Parker Poe. Shortly after, Simmons accepted the role of Editorial Director for the state chapter’s newsletter we call “Updates”. She has demonstrated leadership by collaborating in the development of the publication, writing, and coordinating multiple content projects simultaneously for the membership and its over 400 subscribers.
Simmons together with the state chapter president, launched a podcast to feature NALS’ members from across the United States, creating a platform for the membership to share expertise, tips, and stories.
